The Pastoral Council is a consultative body that supports the Pastor in guiding the pastoral vision and overall direction of the parish. The Council provides insight and recommendations on matters affecting parish life, helps identify and respond to the needs of the parish community, and supports initiatives that advance the parish’s mission. Members serve collaboratively with the Pastor, bringing diverse perspectives, experience, and a commitment to spiritual discernment and pastoral well-being of the parish. -
Pastoral Council 2026-2027

President - Provides leadership and direction for the Pastoral Council in collaboration with the Pastor. The President facilitates Council meetings and helps guide the Council in fulfilling its consultative role to support the parish’s mission. -
Vice President - Supports the President in the leadership and coordination of the Pastoral Council. The Vice President assists with Council initiatives, helps facilitate effective communication among members, and supports the Council in remaining organized, engaged, and focused on its responsibilities and the parish’s pastoral priorities. -
Past President - Provides continuity and institutional knowledge to the Pastoral Council following completion of the term as President. The Past President may advise and support the current President and Council and share historical context and knowledge of previous Council initiatives and decisions. The Past President serves in a supportive capacity, assists the Council on assigned tasks, and does not direct the work of the current President or Council.

The Secretary records motions and voting outcomes and helps ensure that Council decisions, discussions, and action items are accurately documented and communicated to members. -
Events Liaisons - Coordinates and supports events that are sponsored or organized by the Pastoral Council, helping with planning, communication, volunteers, and follow-up as needed. -

Five - Year Plan Liaisons - Keeps the Pastoral Council focused on the parish’s Five-Year Plan, helping members connect Council discussions, recommendations, and initiatives to the goals and priorities identified in the plan.This role works collaboratively with the Pastor to update the plan as needed. -

Communications & Media Liaison - Coordinates the Pastoral Council’s internal and external communications, including providing information for parish communications, website, or social media content related to Council activities, and helps to ensure Council information is communicated clearly and consistently. -
Finance/Expenses Liaison - Tracks and coordinates Pastoral Council-related expenses. This role does not replace or assume the responsibilities of the Finance Council. -
Fundraising Liaisons - Coordinates fundraising initiatives sponsored by the Pastoral Council, including assisting with planning, organization, communication, and follow-up for approved Council fundraising efforts. -

Member-at-Large - Participates fully in Pastoral Council discussions and activities without a designated liaison assignment. The Member-at-Large may be asked to assist with specific Council initiatives or projects as determined by the Council.
