Marriage is the carrier of the sanctity of life! And how noble it is that you – husbands and wives, are channels of God in bringing life into the world. You are couples in love, and couples for life – FOREVER!

Let us parade the habits of welcoming, service and loving as the “CHEERS” we display during our 30th ANNUAL HARVEST FESTIVAL!

The cross is the icon of our discipleship and witnessing. We transform others with our witness to become world-class Christians. So, when you carry your cross, you are not only a disciple, but also you’re witnessing to what the cross stands for “to lay down our life for one’s friends!” That’s what Jesus did: he gave his life for all of us. No questions asked. Period.

Try your best to be a person of value: “Be a good listener! Read with your hearts! And be a nourishing speaker! Deliver a message from your heart that is life-giving and dream-building!”

SEPTEMBER is a significant month for the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette around the world. OUR LADY OF LA SALETTE visited the world in September 19, 1846, in a small village, called La Salette in Southeastern France. And this year (2018), we are celebrating the 172nd Anniversary of the Apparition of OUR LADY OF LA SALETTE.

My invitation to husbands and wives in our midst is: “Be ‘submissive’ to each other to live ONE LOVE as ever, and enjoy ONE LIFE forever.”

If today, you say: “I am hungry,” Jesus tells you with certainty: “Eat this bread [and you will] remain in me and I in [you]… [and you] will live forever.” (JN 6:51,56,58)

As we gather around the Eucharistic table today, please do create a space in your hearts where Jesus can write his life sustaining words: “I am the bread of life… [if you] eat this bread, [you] will live forever…” (Jn 6:41,51)

Jesus is the ultimate image of God’s generosity. What he has given to us: blessed life and energized spirit are not just gifts to behold, but as values to be shared to others without any reservation at all.

Today with generosity’s impetus, let us build a Church where no one is so poor as to have nothing to give; a Church where no one is so rich as to have nothing to receive. Let us make a miracle today!

When hope and love envelop your hearts, life offers infinite possibilities. Then, tell yourself this: “I am SOMEBODY… because GOD don’t make no JUNK.” Yes, you are the beloved! God loves you very much. Always believe that when Jesus sees you, his heart will move with love – only for “you.”

Today, let us take our dollar bills and read aloud, “In God we TRUST!” Then use the dollar bills in buying refreshments for our “stranger guests!” and say with love, “welcome home!” “Mi casa es su casa!”

Faith is the bridge of all miracles!

“What you are is God’s gift to you; what you can become is your gift to God”. So, be witnesses of Jesus and say to the world: “Repent and believe in the Good News!” Now, start witnessing, “walk the talk!”

FATHERS’ DAY! We pray for all FATHERS to have loving hearts to responsibly become pillars of families rooted in God. FATHERS, you are called by name to fashion your homes as God’s kingdom. Make it happen. Christ is counting on you...

TRINITY SUNDAY! The most simplest and visual way to express our faith and experience the Trinity’s reality and mystery, and reveal that God is constantly present in us, is the sign of the cross.

So, today, PENTECOST SUNDAY, as the Holy Spirit makes you busybodies in your involvement in spreading the “Good News” of the Risen Christ to every creature, believe also, that the Holy Spirit consecrates you as living saints despite of your sins. And then, act as holy people and live as saints.

Today, we celebrate MOTHER’S DAY! We cannot ignore this day without expressing our undying love to our mothers. Beloved MOTHERS in our midst, please put your right hand over your heart as I impart to you my blessings of admiration and love:

“Laying down one’s life for one’s friends” is the blue print of unconditional love: it isn’t superficial but real and concrete; not a weapon of destruction, but a food for the heart; does not encourage violence, but it is the inner voice that speaks of peace, and shows the path to forgiveness; and is a medicine that heals wounds, and helps make this world more livable for present and future generations.

As a Good Shepherd, Jesus has given us the best of himself: love (unconditional); mercy (immeasurable); friendship (welcoming); and most of all, his LIFE! These are gifts and given to us – not motivated by any necessity, not conditioned by any calculation, and not attracted to any interested desire to exchange. They are just plain GIFTS! #Good Shepherd GIFTS!
