Have you ever had a moment of silence where you realized that the mundane tasks of life were preventing you from living to the fullest? While we do need to take care of the daily necessities, sometimes we live a half-hearted life of "just getting by." But Jesus wants to give us life to the full. He wants to remove the things in our life that prevent us from appreciating the beauty around us, the gifts in our life, and truly experiencing the plans he has in store for us.

LENT is here! God’s healing spree is just around the corner. Yes, God’s love heals; it brings hope and life.

Enter raffle for your chance to win a rosary blessed by Pope Francis. Raffle tickets will be available on February 11th in the foyer of St. Paul the Apostle from 7:30am to 8:00pm at the Knot Just a Prayer Rosary Table. Each ticket is available for a $5 donation. All proceeds will benefit the Knot Just a Prayer Rosary Making Ministry of St. Paul's. Winner will be selected by a Deacon or Priest on Monday, February 12th. Winner does not need to be present. Though we may never fully understand suffering, we can be certain that God desires to heal us and bring value into our suffering. He sent us his only Son to suffer and die for our salvation, and through this mystery we can glimpse how suffering can make us more like him. But we first need to ask for him to heal us in our suffering. We see Jesus beginning that work today in the little town of Capernaum, and he longs to continue that same work in each of our lives.
